“ How did you cope with the transition from non-law to law and what electives did you pick during your LPC? ”

Hi Andre. Great question! The transition from non-law to law is actually relatively common (around half of HSF's trainee intake each year are with people from non-law backgrounds). To be totally honest, the GDL and LPC are extremely well structured and you are provided with everything you'd need to get through. In that sense, the only requirement to "cope" was to ensure you keep up with the work, reading and tutorials. If you are doing the LPC together with all other HSF future joiners, there are no "electives" per se - all the modules are pre-selected for you and have been chosen on the basis of their relevance and usefulness re. the work you will doing as a trainee and beyond at HSF. Hope that helps! Angad
